Graduation
is looming.

Part of the graduation requirement for the computer science major at Earlham is the completion of a capstone senior project. To facilitate this, the 3-credit Senior Seminar class can be looked forward to by any CS major. The class happens in the fall of the senior year so that the heavily research-based project can be included and pointed to in applications to graduate schools (usually due around the end of the year). Senior sem students can expect to review topics in CS, write a few papers, practice presenting and WORK. Many senior sem students have been known to leave all the coding until November, but it's not a recommended practice.

The first few seminars consisted of a group project; since 1998, the format has changed to individual projects. Unfortunately, many of the student-provided links in some of the older pages are broken or inaccessible. Enjoy what you can see - if you are one of the people whose page we cannot see, please contact us and we'll work to make your project viewable, too.
