Using VA SystemImager to syncronize large clusters of similar computers to a standard distribution. The goal here is to create a stable distribution of Linux for a given cluster of machines to use and then pull this image onto the individual nodes to be used. The reason that we are trying to use VA SystemImager is because it is designed around common Linux tools and follows a pull method of syncronization. What makes the pull method better is that the client decides weather or not it syncronizes instead of a central server making that decision. More information about SystemImager in general can be found at the SystemImager Homepage. For more information about the setup and install on the ACL, look here.
