Gorgi Abadjiev


Gorgi Abadjiev (b. Dojran, 1910 - d. Kumanovo, 1963) is a famous macedonian writer, publisher, and historian.

During the first World War he was in Bulgaria where he finished his education. He was one of the organizers of the Macedonian Literary Circle in Sofija. He returned to Skopje in 1948.

Some of Abadjiev's more famous collections of short stories are: Epopejata na nozhot and Izgrev, and some of his more famous novels include: Aramisko gnezdo and Pustina.

Gorgi Abadjiev is a winner of a number of literary prizes.
