Where are we going?!

From WildWiki

While often the Intro to Canoeing course transpires in the beautiful Whitewater River, this time it will be orchestrated in a place of comparable beauty and majesty, commonly called Lake Monroe in the renowned Brown County region. We will have the opportunity to explore a cave, portage, learn advanced paddling techniques and much much more! The lake itself is a reservoir, meaning it is man-made by a dam. It is flooded woodland, so many areas are swampy and you can see trees growing up out of the water. This provides an interesting opportunity to practice advanced strokes to maximize you control over the canoe.
