Description

A paint can full of "toxic waste" (water) is placed in the middle of a large circle (about a 12 foot diameter) which has been marked off by rope or webbing. Some distance away (15-30 ft) there is another circle marked off with rope. The group is given a circular bungee cord to which is attached several (8-10) long stands of parachute cord.

Objective

Without going into the encircled areas the group must bring the can of water from one circle to the other without spilling any of the water. The water can be a metaphor for many different topics. Variation: Blind fold some of the participants and have other only give instructions. The group will have to stretch the bungy out and "catch" the can, then lift it and carefully move it to the safe zone and then detach the rope from the can.

Safety Considerations

If blindfolding participants, ensure that they are being looked after.
