Hiking in the Shoshone National Forest around Lizard Head Peak.
This is beautiful wilderness area. We will not be accessible by car and will probably not encounter many other hikers on our trip. We will travel from the cirque of the towers to a dirt road just past Bears Ear Mountain. This will take us through lizard head meadows and an amazing pass in the Popo Agie wilderness. We will go in late summer with a group of three or four.
