Gear List: (Basic gear you need to bring on the trip)
-A light source that is light weight, has a reasonably long battery life and is powerful/bright (handheld or headlamp). This is intended as a supplementary light source to the headlamp we provide.
-A durable water bottle (e.g. nalgene). -Boots (don’t have to be water proof). -Caving clothing – durable pants, sweatshirt or light jacket, thick and warm socks, base layers/long underwear. Though it’s not necessary some people like to wear coveralls over everything. Whatever is worn as the outermost layer of clothing will get muddy; select accordingly. It is preferable to wear clothing made of wool or synthetic materials (e.g. polyester, nylon) as opposed to cotton because they will dry much faster and also keep you warmer if they get wet.
