Destination for Red River Rock Climbing Spring '07

Camping in the large group site along the river along Route 9 near the approach trail for Pistol Ridge. Very impacted, has trash cans and a good location for a fire at night. Be aware that the river can flood in a downpour, so avoid this campsite if heavy rain is expected.

Day 1
Fortress Wall
Routes Climbed: American Crack, Calypso II, Calypso III
Great for wet or cold days. All traditional climbing with good morning sun.

Roadside Crag
Routes Climbed: C sharp or B flat, Gumbyland
Doesn't get sun in the morning, and always busy. Be sure to get their early, or avoid.
