This page is designed for current Wilderness Staff. It can be used for gaining knowledge regarding a course you are teaching, planning courses, viewing sample materials, and learning more about the department.

Staff Manual

The staff manual is a resource every instructor/facilitator in the department should be familiar with. It not only outlines program philosophy, history, hiring and policies and procedures, but also provides various instructional resources. The staff manual is also available in print form. Copies can be found in the OEC and Tom's office.

It is very important that all staff become familiar with policies and procedure for the program, particulary those pertaining to the program area in which they will be teaching.

Course Planning Information & Forms

This page provides both general planning forms for all courses (many of which will be in your program packet folders), as well as course specific resources, such as lesson plans, syllabi, and additional background information.
